Het Zilverlexicon voor Nederland en BelgiëThe 'Zilverlexicon' is an encyclopedic reference with approximately 3.000 lemmas focused on silver from the Netherlands and Belgium. The lemmas describe objects, tools, hallmarks and styles. In alfabetical order this book comprehends numerous useful items about silver, but also the biographies of the most important Dutch and Belgian silversmiths, their marks and their guilds. The objects described have all a Dutch or Belgian origin and vary from common to museal.
